Manchester played host to the 4th ENoLL Living Lab Summer School in August, which this year focused on the subject of ‘Connected Smart & Creative Cities’. Citadel on the Move played an important role during the four day program, featuring as one of the Smart City projects discussed by attendees during the main conference sessions. Particular attention was given to the way in which Citadel empowers citizens across Europe to use open data to create “smart”, innovative web-based mobile applications that can be used in their region to improve everyday life. The ENoLL summer school is a major event which profiles the very best in Smart City projects and attracts a global audience of leading experts and practitioners, taking advantage of the workshops, discussion panels, networking and site visits, designed to give them an insight into successful Smart City projects like Citadel on the Move.
