      Hi,

      I've just installed the Points of Interest (POIs) in the city template as a local site on my MacBook.

      I'm using:
      - PHP 5.3.15 with Suhosin-Patch (cli)
      - mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.96
      - Apache/2.2.22

      I created an Apache Virtual Host for the local site on my Mac at

      This meant I had to do some changes to Config.php to get the template running for the first time.

      Can I suggest the following changes to Config.php as it may make it easier for others?

      1. Add hostname definition.

      // hostname
      define("HOSTNAME", "http://" . $_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"]);

      So "HOSTNAME" in my case will be ""

      2. Change HTDOCS_ROOT definition to get the document root automatically.

      define("HTDOCS_ROOT", $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"]);

      3. Change DATASET_URL definition to use HOSTNAME definition.

      e.g. change

      define("DATASET_URL", "" . BASE_DIR . "dataset.php");

      to:

      define("DATASET_URL", HOSTNAME . BASE_DIR . "dataset.php");

      Thanks,
      Alan.

        Hi Alan,

        Thanks for the recommendations, we'll try to include these changes in the next release of the templates
