I was wondering if you knew about the citySDK program (http://www.citysdk.eu/) Well, at least Manchester people should since they are also part of it :-)

It's a European program aiming at uniformizing open dataset formats of European cities in several domains (tourism, transportation, issue reporting...)

I'm new here so I didn't have a look at everything yet but it looks like that some of your objectives are common so maybe you could learn from each other?

I'll happily share my experience about the citySDK Tourism API if anyone is interested.

we actually had a workshop with citySDK during the datadays2014 conf in Ghent.
It already produced results and an app is created using datasets coming from citySDK tourims and feeded into the citadel template. You can have a look here http://demos.citadelonthemove.eu/ap...40B98CD85. We used a conversion script found here https://github.com/rsbarata/CitySDK-Citadel-Script
