Citadel Leads Lively Session at Smart City 2014 in Bologna

Citadel on the Move took Bologna by storm last week as more than 50 delegates packed out a room at the Smart City Exhibition 2014. The session, entitled "The Four E's of Open Data: Engagement, Empowerment, Endorsement, Enforcement" brought together representatives of the Citadel project with leading regional policy advocates from Italy to explore how local government can create better strategies to drive Open Data forward. Presentations provoked lively discussion among participants including the best approach to Open Data standards and the experience of using Citadel tools to drive local policy was discussed.
